I learn you...you learn me... from our differences.
From May 30 to June 3rd, a week to share the life and the activities of the pupils from Primary school. Lydia Menguy, teacher in the school group and responsible of the ULISS class, has invited a fantastic wizard in our school.
Gaspar Hellmes is of Brazilian origin and he discovers the school group. He shares his skills (sociocultural animation, wizard, teacher of Capoeira...). This week, he participated to a rugby lesson made in english with the 10/11 years old. Then he went to the swimming pool with the 9/10 years old and after, he went with the 6/7 years old and spoke with them in Spanish and he made too, magical tricks...
Thank you for this cooperation inside the group school. Thank you Lydia and Gaspar for this week.

A very special funfair with really very slow artists: snails.
Presentation made to the 6-7 years old, CP, on the 27th of May.
Snails evolved on a route fitted out by multiple apparatus: trapeze, big wheel, beds of nails,
bridge of monkey...

Du jeudi 17 mars au vendredi 25 mars, l'école primaire la Croix-Rouge et l'école maternelle Ange Gardien accueillaient Bethany Sheppard, une jeune cornouaillaise. Sophie Lagadec, enseignante des CE2, explique : « L'objectif est de faire découvrir aux enfants de maternelle et de primaire le Royaume-Uni et la culture britannique par la rencontre avec un étudiant anglais ».
Entre pyjama's day et tea-time
Bethany a proposé des activités diverses en anglais aux classes de l'école. Dans les classes, elle a enseigné des chants, des poèmes et réalisé des activités ludiques en anglais. Elle a également présenté l'étude d'un album de littérature de jeunesse anglais « How do you feel ? » Bethany a parlé aux élèves de son mode de vie, de son école, de sa région et a répondu à leurs questions. Avant son départ, l'équipe pédagogique avait prévu une journée anglaise : une matinée pyjama suivie d'une « assembly ». Les échanges ont eu lieu à l'auditorium pour présenter aux élèves de primaire les traditions anglaises dont le « pyjama's day » et Easter (Pâques). WORLD WATER DAY -
The 7/8 years old (CE2) with their teacher Sophie Lagadec work
about the water.
They went to Océanopolis to have more informations.
Les CE2 de Sophie Lagadec, de l'école primaire La Croix-Rouge, se sont rendus à Océanopolis pour un atelier spécifique, organisé à l'occasion de la Journée mondiale de l'eau. Quatre ateliers avec des expériences étaient proposés : les différents états de l'eau dans la nature, la condensation, les conséquences de l'élévation de la température de l'eau et les conséquences de la fonte de la banquise. Puis, l'animatrice a présenté aux élèves une synthèse sur le cycle de l'eau. Enfin, les enfants ont visité le pavillon polaire et ont eu la joie d'assister au repas des manchots.

How do you feel? = Comment ça va?
With a lot of fun, with a book written by Anthony Browne,
pupils learn a lot of English words.
Avec beaucoup de plaisir, avec un livre écrit par Anthony Browne,
les élèves apprennent beaucoup de mots anglais.

Every morning the children rush to the space dedicated to the alive
in our class. They observe the stick insects babies, look for them, count them and observe their growth.
The pupils are amazed by the growth of the chaillote, by the new plants of courgette and by our bulb of amaryllis. (Children saw that after the flowers appear funny green balls.)

Our Penpals from Guimiliau
In our class there is a special space dedicated to our penpals.
There are several things there: a collective card for Christmas, individual letters to introduce each pupil and soon we will exchange our favourite recipes.
On March the 25th we organise a meeting with the 2 classes:
it will be a sportive and artistic day.
Then we will know better each other.

ENVIRONMENT, WE ARE ALL CONCERNED.
In the newspaper "OUEST FRANCE", the young pupils from Ce2 La Croix Rouge La Salle in Brest, explain their first project about environment: "Don't touch to my planet, collect your cigarette ends!"
The first one is "Don't touch to my beach!".
To disseminate their project, they wear badges with their slogan and they went on a beach to collect waste.
They will speak soon about their second project.
